Wanderers Football Club would like to extend a huge congratulations to our FQPL1 Under 23 Men’s side after their 3-1 victory over Ipswich FC on August 1 confirmed them as Premiers for the 2026 season.
Second-placed Ipswich FC came into the game knowing that only a draw or victory would keep them in the title race, but our boys showed their incredible resilience, coming from a goal down and outclassing their opposition, collecting all three points. With two games still to play in the regular season, Head Coach Cody Galvin will have plenty of time to ensure the Premiers are at their very best come finals time.
Sunshine Coast Wanderers U23 Men’s side will conclude their regular domestic season with games at home to Broadbeach United on August 9, and away to St George Willawong on August 15.
