On behalf of everyone at Buderim Wanderers and Sunshine Coast Wanderers, thank you. Your continued support is what allows a 54-year-old community club to field more than 840 players, run NPL Women’s and FQPL 1 Men’s teams, and keep grassroots football alive on the Sunshine Coast. None of it happens without you.
2027 brings an exciting new era. Our network now reaches Rockhampton and the Central Queensland districts through our partnership with Frenchville Sports Club, opening up playing pathways and corporate partnership opportunities across both regions.
There’s also a proposed investment in Ballinger Park — the heart of our community game — and preparations in place for a 2028 move to Honey Farm Road, giving our senior and academy programs a home built for the future.
This year our exposure has grown well beyond match day. Winterfest, the Pacific Cup, Harmony Day, and Supa Oldies all put the Wanderers (and our partners) in front of new audiences, and our media presence and footprint continue to expand. Your brand travels with us.
Our President, Glenn Duncan, continues to look for opportunities for the Wanderers and the broader football community. Football is one of only two sports guaranteed a place here on the Sunshine Coast, despite what we’re all led to believe. For too long our game has been underfunded, underrated, and underrepresented by all levels of government. That’s changing, and we want our partners alongside us as it does.
So here’s the invitation — get behind the Wanderers for 2027, and we’ll get behind your business with the undisputed number one sport in Australia and the world.
I would welcome a conversation about how we can grow your profile alongside ours next season. Please email president@wanderersfootball.com.au or call Glenn directly through 0419 177 515 and he’ll make time.
