Wanderers underway!
On 17 February, Sunshine Coast Wanderers’ senior teams gathered with corporate partners and club members to celebrate the launch of the new season at Slipstream Social House in Birtinya.
It was an evening filled with enthusiasm and excitement, hosted by the highly respected Scott Grimshaw from Football Queensland. The evening also celebrated the debut of Wanderers’ very own beer, Wanderful Pale Ale, and the release of the third edition of Wanderers Football magazine.
Coaches from the Under-23, as well as the men’s and women’s senior teams, took to the stage with their players to share their expectations and aspirations for the upcoming season. Wanderers President, Glenn Duncan, spoke passionately, expressing gratitude to our key corporate partners for their continued support and sharing exciting plans for a bigger, better 2026 season.
The delicious food and drinks kept the energy lively at Slipstream Social House, and the Wanderers X Slipstream Wanderful Pale Ale quickly became a favourite among the crowd.
