The Sunshine Coast Wanderers under-18 squad recently travelled to Melbourne to participate in friendlies against Western United and Melbourne City as part of a skill development tour. The squad also got to experience the state-of-the-art facilities at the Melbourne City Academy and compete against elite-level youth players.
“The two tough matches against top opposition in Western United and Melbourne City gave our under-18 boys the perfect chance to test themselves — and they rose to the challenge. We’re incredibly proud of the way they played and the way they carried themselves in such high-intensity games. Big lessons, big moments, and a big step forward.”
