Former Buderim and Sunshine Coast Wanderers goalkeeper Mitchell Bright has been named in the Australian Joeys team, which will tour the Pacific Islands in January.
The talented goalkeeper will represent Australia against the U-19 national teams of Fiji and Solomon Islands in a three-match international series supported by the Australian Government through PacificAus Sports.
The matches will provide key preparation for the upcoming AFC U17 Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia, where Mitch will look to book his place in the team.
Mitchell played for both Buderim and Sunshine Coast Wanderers during his time at the club, receiving his first national-level call-up whilst wearing the gloves for SC Wanderers in 2024.
