Football Queensland has announced the selected state teams for the upcoming 2026 CommBank Emerging Matildas and Socceroos Championships. Wanderers Football Club is very proud to share that Aiden Bowman and Olivia Nunn have been chosen to represent the Under 16 Boys and Under 15 Girls squads, respectively.
An additional six Wanderers players were named as shadow squad members, including Ian Connor, Matt Husted (U15) Jemma Drollet, Darcy Jones, Eleanor Kaese, Macy Litfin (all U15), and Ania Mann (U16), forming a strong Wanderers presence.
The Under 15 and Under 16 Girls CommBank Emerging Matildas Championships will take place at the Home of the Matildas from April 9 to 15. Following that, Queensland’s Under 15 Boys and Under 16 Boys squads will compete at the CommBank Emerging Socceroos Championships at Valentine Sports Park in Sydney from April 18 to 24.
