Opens: 12:00am AEST, 10 May 2026

Closes: 11:59pm AEST, 1 July 2026

Judging date: 1 July 2026 (by the promoter or its representative)

Judging criteria (equally weighted): Creativity, originality, and alignment with the brief

Prize: 1 x Aussie World entry ticket for a family/group of five for unlimited rides, Illusionarium, and Mayhem Maze (RRP $277.50)

Game type: Game of skill (chance plays no part) — the promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into

Winner publication & publicity: Winner’s name may be announced on any media the promoter deems fit — winner consents to being photographed for promotional/media purposes

1. Acceptance

By submitting an entry, entrants agree to these terms and conditions (T&Cs) and acknowledge that the schedule forms part of these T&Cs.

2. Eligibility

a) Entry is open to residents of Australia.
b) Entrants must be 18 years or over, or, if under 18, must have parental/guardian permission to enter and be bound by these T&Cs. The promoter may request evidence of consent and age/residency.
c) The promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify any entrant found to have breached these conditions.

3. Entry requirements

a) How to enter: During the entry period, create an original ‘dream football design’ drawing (any style/medium) and include a short, written inspiration note. Email both to alex@horseandwater.com.au.
b) Entry limits: Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry is substantially unique and original.
c) Format: Digital scans or photos of physical artwork are acceptable.
d) Originality: Entries must be the entrant’s own work and not infringe third-party rights.
e) Content standards: Entries must not be defamatory, obscene, hateful, unlawful, or unsafe. The promoter may reject non-compliant entries.
f) Late/invalid entries: The promoter is not responsible for late, lost, or corrupted entries.

4. Judging (game of skill)

a) Judging date: As per the schedule.
b) Criteria: Creativity, originality, and alignment with the brief (each equally weighted).
c) Panel: Judging by the promoter or its representative(s).
d) Finality: The decision is final — no correspondence will be entered into.
e) Reserve entries: May be used if the winner is ineligible or uncontactable.

5. Prize

a) Description and value: As per the schedule (RRP $277.50).
b) Conditions: Prize is subject to Aussie World’s usual terms. Travel and other expenses are not included.
c) Substitution: The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. If unavailable, a prize of equal or greater value may be substituted.
d) No affiliation: Aussie World is not a sponsor or partner unless expressly stated.

6. Winner notification and publication

a) Winner will be notified by email within two business days of judging.
b) The winner’s name may be published on any media the promoter deems fit.
c) If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 days, the prize may be awarded to the next best eligible entry.

7. Intellectual property and licence

(a) Ownership

Entrants retain ownership of their artwork and any written inspiration submitted.

(b) Licence — non-winning entries

By entering, each entrant grants the promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and communicate their entry solely for the purposes of administering, promoting, or reporting on the competition (for example, displaying entries on the promoter’s website or social media).

This licence does not permit the promoter to use non-winning entries for commercial purposes.

(c) Licence — winning entry

The winning entrant grants the promoter an exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, transferable, royalty-free and sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, publish, adapt, communicate, and otherwise exploit the winning artwork and written inspiration for any marketing, promotional, commercial, or other purposes connected with the promoter’s activities.

The winning entrant acknowledges they will not receive any further payment beyond the prize.

(d) Moral rights

The Promoter agrees to make reasonable efforts to credit the creator where practical. Entrants consent to reasonable editing, cropping, or modification necessary for display, provided such changes do not distort or misrepresent the original work.

(e) Third-party content

Entrants warrant that their submission is original and does not include third-party materials without permission. Entrants indemnify the promoter against any claims arising from breach of this warranty.

(f) Parental consent

For entrants under 18, their parent/guardian confirms the above licences and consents on behalf of the entrant.

8. Publicity

Entrants (and, where applicable, their parent/guardian) consent to the use of their name, suburb, likeness, and/or photograph for announcing results and reasonable promotional purposes without further payment.

9. Privacy

Personal information is collected for the purposes of administering the competition and will be handled in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles. Contact alex@horseandwater.com.au for access or corrections.

10. Liability

Nothing limits statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Except as required by law, the promoter or representatives of the promoters (including contractors, sub-contractors, or employees thereof) are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation or use of the prize.

11. General

The Promoter may verify entries, modify, suspend, or cancel the competition if affected by interference or unforeseen events, subject to law. These T&Cs are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
