Buderim Wanderers are our club’s teams that compete in the local Sunshine Coast competition. Indeed, the Buderim Wanderers is the original club that was founded in 1972. It wasn’t until 2018 that we formed the Sunshine Coast Wanderers to provide a pathway for our elite players to compete in the National Premier League.
It’s in the local Sunshine Coast competition that we, as the Buderim Wanderers, have enjoyed so much success and continue to this day. With that said, community football is not just about success — it is equally about the joy of competing and developing your skills and fitness while having fun with your friends.
The club’s coaching leadership and experience from participating in the National Premier League competition are shared across all Wanderers football teams, including teams competing in the local Sunshine Coast competition. Furthermore, we actively look to provide our players with opportunities to make the jump to the next level where possible.
Buderim Wanderers field a number of teams, both male and female, from junior right through to senior men’s and women’s teams in the Sunshine Coast Community Competition run by Football Queensland, playing clubs from across the Sunshine Coast region from Bribie Island to Gympie.
